BioProdex, Inc. is a private company dedicated to research, development, sales, and service of biological products for pest control and environmental protection.

BioProdex, Inc. was founded in April 2003 with a vision to service segments of agricultural, home, and environmental markets that are open to biologically based, “green” pesticides that are ideal for small, specialized market niches. Nonetheless, depending on the type of bioproducts the company develops in the future, conventional markets may be targeted as well.

BioProdex, Inc. is a small-business enterprise and a development-stage biotechnology company. Its core business is R&D, sales, and service of innovative biologically based products. Its first product will be a plant virus-based biological herbicide to control a noxious weed. The company will manufacture and market this bioherbicide.

BioProdex, Inc. expects to commercialize other bioherbicides developed at the University of Florida by Dr. R. Charudattan’s research group.

In addition to its own R&D, sales, and service, BioProdex, Inc. is open to acquisitions of other licensable bioproducts and to enter into strategic alliances with other companies, institutions, and individual with complementary business interests.
